We are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller, who together with the Senior Management Team will play a key role in developing Autism Hampshire's plans for the future.
As Financial Controller you will be responsible for the efforts and results of the finance department, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer in regards to all financial and accounting activities. This will include management accounts, budget and financial planning, reporting, cash flow, purchase and sales ledger, and invoicing. You will also be responsible for operational leadership and management of the finance team.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with technical accounting knowledge including the Charities SORP, and data protection. Experience in the Charity/Care sector would be highly desirable.
You will have excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively, inspiring positivity and motivation. You will need to be flexible, willing to go the extra mile and take a hands-on approach as necessary.
As part of the Senior Management Team, the successful candidate will be a supportive & positive team player who is willing to work in partnership with colleagues at all levels. You will also seek to positively challenge, suggest updates and improvements.
