The Asset Systems Team has the primary responsibility for the configuration of and data management within our principle asset management systems. These applications underpin the company's entire asset management, work management and operational activities relating to all plant and equipment on the electrical distribution network.
Specifically, SAP PM acts as the asset and work management register for over 6 million assets. Inspection and maintenance activities on the assets are driven by SAP PM and all data recorded during that work activity is held within these systems. SAP PM is the master register for asset nameplate, commissioning, condition, calibration, defect and measurement data. This information is fundamental to the efficient and successful operation of our business, informing our forward investment plans, asset management strategies, legislative compliance and regulatory reporting.
Reporting directly to the Asset Systems Manager, the Asset Data Quality Analyst fulfils a critical role in ensuring the full application of asset data requirements and ensuring the provision of accurate, reliable data.
