Valetor / Driver

New opportunity not to be missed! Arriva Bus & Coach Ltd have an opportunity for a Valetor / Driver to join our growing team based in Cleckheaton. The successful Valetor / Driver will receive a competitive salary of £17,000 - £18,000 per annum.

We specialise in the sale, rental and finance of new and used vehicles along with excellent, nationwide servicing and repair and parts support.

Reporting to the Workshop Controller, as our Valetor / Driver you will be responsible for cleaning and washing of vehicle to a high standard for presentation and readiness for customers.

Key responsibilities as our Valetor / Driver:

- Preparation of vehicles in line with Internal and external customer need

- Ensure vehicles leaving the workshop are of a presentable standard

- Arrangement and shunting of vehicles on site giving access to workload and minimising the need for workshop staff to move vehicles.

- Communication with Workshop controller to allow smooth scheduling of workload

- Care and housekeeping of the valeting shop and equipment, communication of any issues to the Workshop Controller

- Occasional travel to off-site storage sites – movement and delivery of vehicles

Our ideal Valetor / Driver:

- Operation various valet and cleaning equipment

- Knowledge and awareness of the relevant chemicals and substances used for valeting

- Knowledge of how a busy finishing or preparation environment operates

- Transport / automotive experience

- Some basic vehicle operating/maintenance knowledge

- Meticulous eye for quality & cleanliness

- Good communication skills

- Ability to work to customer deadlines

- Flexible

- UK PSV Driving licence
