Starting salary of £24,915 per annum for non-qualified teachers/£27,281 for qualified teachers, rising to £28,855 with experience in the role, plus £3400 market allowance for holding a Engineering Degree qualification and a golden hello payment of up to £2000

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Engineering Team within our Engineering area. If you are looking for a new challenge and would like to utilise your skills and experience whilst developing your own career, this role will be both rewarding and fulfilling. You will pass on your specialist knowledge, and will be developing skills for the future.
Within this role you will teach elements of Composite & Mechanical Engineering from Level 1 to Level 4 and the key duties of our Lecturers include:
- Delivering high quality teaching and learning
- Guiding and supporting learners, providing pastoral support and care
- Providing appropriate assignment material for each programme and developing our contextual learning
- Monitoring the progress, retention and achievement of learners.
The working hours will usually be 37 per week, Monday to Friday, which may include evening teaching.
Essential requirements are a Level three or above qualification or equivalent in Composite Engineering and suitable industrial experience. Experience and/or qualifications in teaching and assessing would be advantageous, but is not essential. We welcome applications from people in industry, and will provide the necessary support to obtain your professional teaching qualification and assessor/verifier awards in-house.
