Our client is a large, and growing, specialist land-based College, with centres throughout Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Tees Valley.

Joining them as a Digital Marketing Content Officer, you will work with other key staff to create and help develop content and user experiences that will influence the decisions of students, employers and other key stakeholders, to achieve overall business targets.

Devising, managing and implementing integrated and impactful creative content for campaigns, social media channels, and print, you will deliver the activity of the ‘content’ section of the wider marketing team in order to develop the College and Wildlife Park websites; ensuring clear, market driven, user journeys and the implementation of impactful and creative digital content strategies.

Working with content owners to drive editorial and quality standards and make sure that content published on channels adheres to brand and tone of voice and is up to date and accurate, you will contribute to the overall College digital strategy and coordinate the production of video for website, social media and schools liaison activity.

You will also be responsible for meeting social media benchmark targets on an annual basis, the coordination and delivery of the College’s corporate social media accounts (FB, Twitter, LinkedIn & Instagram) and for overseeing the continued maintenance of the college’s image and photography archive.

With experience of producing high profile digital communication content for marketing and communication purposes and of designing web functionality, candidates will have an excellent level of marketing and communications copywriting ability and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively and influence a wide range of people.

A degree or equivalent qualification in a related area is essential and you must have first-class planning and organisational skills and be capable of using content management systems and managing multiple projects.  An awareness of FE and HE marketing issues and knowledge of digital design and development tools and systems would be desirable but not necessarily essential for the role.
