What are we looking for? 

An influential leader with an extensive knowledge and experience in the development & delivery of employability & people development programme. A particular passion and expertise in developing skills and further education landscape. Specialist knowledge of the Apprenticeship reforms, ESFA funding methodology Ofsted Common Inspection Framework is vital. In addition, excellent verbal and written communication and coaching skills is essential to fulfil the requirements of this role.

We deliver projects and administer funding within local communities and operate the National Careers Service across the East Midlands and Eastern England. Job Specification Requirements
The successful candidate will:

  • Educated to BA Hons Degree or equivalent
  • Qualified in Teaching Assessor, IV and or Teaching qualification at L4 or above
  • Willing to challenge traditional practices and win support from peers and staff for new initiatives
  • Operate at a Senior Level within a complex and evolving business
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of responding to changes in Government Skills Policy that have enabled rigorous contract management, effective business planning and future strategic decisions
