Team Leader - Support to Older people Team

Full-time, Permanent 37 hours per work plus standby
Based at: Temple Street, Bristol

We require a Team Leader to supervise a team of Mobile Wardens and Mobile Warden Co-ordinators who carry out welfare checks and an emergency response service to service users living in supported accommodation for older people. The team operates 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
The Support to Older People Team assess the individual support needs of tenants living in Bristol City Council's Sheltered Housing. This involves liaising with various health, support & care providers and organisations to ensure that we help our tenants to maintain their independence and well being. As part of the council's Estate Services department we work alongside Housing Officers to sustain and support tenancies in our schemes throughout the city.
We provide personal welfare checks and an emergency response to alarm activations so a knowledge of alarm systems and assistive technology would be beneficial.
The service is about to be redesigned so experience of change management and leadership is important.
