Senior Systems Engineer

My client in the West Midlands is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is experienced in working in the automotive OEM, Tier 1 supplier or similar industrys.
If you are an embedded electronics or software expert looking to progress his/her career into systems engineering / model based systems development then please get in contact.
You will be working alongside the Systems and Safety team being responsible for the deployment of functional safety and systems engineering tools across the business to deliver internal and external projects.
Essential experience for this role would include:
User and systems level requirements
Architectural design.
Linking and traceability of requirements to design.
dFMEA
DVP&R
Desirable experience for this role would include:
DOORS
Model based system design (UML, SysML) Rhapsody
Hybrid electric vehicle architectures and control.
Design of systems at hazardous voltages.
HiL, SiL, MiL based verification techniques.
Autosar and/or distributed architectures.
Exposure to process assessment schemes e.g. CMMI, ISO 15504 (SPICE).
A track record of delivering projects to JLRs TCDS process (or similar) will be seen as highly desirable.
