Your next role

You’ll be providing a first-class service in the preparation of Accounts for our valued clients. You’ll also be responding to client queries, so it’s essential you’ll be comfortable in providing full confidentiality, transparency and exceeding expectations whenever possible. We’ll need you to have a keen eye for detail, teamed with the ability to spot any inaccuracies or duplications and provide resolutions. Efficiency and accuracy are key as well as exceptional interpersonal skills, effective communication and the ability to work to deadlines.

Depending on experience, this role will be fast tracked to a client facing role looking after your own portfolio. We also offer a generous study support package to help continually develop our colleagues.

Responsibilities and experience will include:

  • Preparation of financial statements for limited companies
  • Preparation of partnerships and sole traders accounts
  • Prepare and file annual returns and PSC confirmation statement to Companies House
  • Liaison with clients on all enquiries
  • Dependent on experience, assist our senior Audit and Accounts Managers with their portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Maintaining and developing client relationships, both written communication and conducting face to face meetings

About you;

You’ll ideally have some experience at Junior Level within Accountancy Practice and be ready for your next career move.

Additionally, you’ll have/be:

  • Hold or be at least half way towards your ACA / ACCA qualification
  • Knowledge of IR35 is desirable
  • Good verbal / written communication, inter-personal and customer service skills are essential
  • The ability to work under pressure, and work as an effective team member
  • Good time management and prioritising skills in meeting deadlines
  • Accurate MS office skills, particularly excel
