The purpose of the Director of Apprenticeships and Business Development role is to lead and further grow the College’s successful apprenticeship provision with a specific focus on engaging with existing and new levy paying clients. The role will focus on strategic account management for apprenticeships with large employers and will work with them on their requirements for this provision. The role will also focus on developing and managing any future commercial apprenticeship contracts with The Collab Group which the College is a member of.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of delivering income and recruitment targets for the growth of apprenticeship provision within the FE and skills sector as well as experience of strategic engagement and account management with employers in respect of apprenticeship provision. Experience of managing and improving quality in the FE and skills sector and experience of managing apprenticeship provision from a business development perspective is also essential.

You will have a relevant level three vocational qualification. A level 4 qualification in Leadership and Management and an Assessors and Verifiers qualification are also desirable.
