We would like to appoint an ICT Technician to join Acorn Education Trust in September 2017. Reporting to the Trust's IT Manager, the post holder will support the ICT infrastructure across schools within the Trust by providing technical support to students and staff.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding Trust and opportunities for progression will be available for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will have a good all round knowledge of hardware and software and be able to communicate with staff and students with varying ICT expertise. Previous experience of carrying out a similar client facing role would be an advantage. An appropriate ICT qualification is desirable. Experience of working in an educational environment will be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be offered by our expert and friendly team.
You must be able to work with a variety of staff, as well as students; build good working relationships, be organised and consistent with a positive “can-do” attitude. We are looking for someone who is very much a team player, willing to work alongside colleagues in a flexible and cooperative way.
