Business Analyst - Disaster Recovery
Disaster Recovery/Data Centre's/Applications
Location: Peterborough
Responsibilities
* Responsible for investigating and analysing business activities and processes and also looking at improvements of efficiency, customer experience and consolidation/re-use of technology to ensure consistency of standards across the bank for all Disaster Recovery purposes.
* Must be an excellent listener and have a thorough understanding of what is important to the business from a Technology and Disaster Recovery stand point in case of any potential threats. The ability to process a vast amount of information, have fantastic attention to detail and be methodical.
* Must possess a blend of business and IT elements with soft skills to influence and negotiate decisions
* Must be able to understand technical discussions and to communicate at all levels in simplistic non-technical terms, must be comfortable to challenge scope and validate requirements to achieve accuracy
* Must have previous Disaster Recovery experience for both Hardware and Software related purposes.
* High Level Demonstrable experience having worked on Disaster recovery projects, both Data Centre and Application level.
* Experience of Disaster Recovery Planning and defining requirements that demonstrate experience with continuation of vital business processes in the event that a disaster occurs.
Demonstrable experience of projects that define Disaster Recovery Requirements for :
* mitigation
* planning
* response
* recovery
* Experience of Business recovery process definition.
* General awareness of Disaster Recovery vs. Business Continuity projects.
