Junior Native Android Developer: Chester (GBP20,000-GBP30,000)
Having access to your data and content on the go is becoming more and more desirable in today's society and therefore organisations are increasingly adapting their content to be mobile-first.
My client is a great example of a company that is looking to build an entirely new team compromising of junior, mid-senior and senior level Android developers following a business-wide transformation on how they deliver their content to their customers.
The positions are entirely product-aligned, focusing on the end-end delivery of a range of android mobile apps in an agile environment.
A lot of the work is greenfield, focusing on state-of-the-art projects never seen before in the Finance/FX/Banking space. You will be expected to contribute throughout the full Software Development Lifecycle and will be joining a highly collaborative team.
In terms of culture, you would struggle to find somewhere better. Their CTO is looking to create a 'Google-feel' with their office space (whatever that means) and it includes a gym, tennis courts, on-site childcare and social areas where you can grab some food and a coffee with your colleagues!

Commercial experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
•> Experience developing Native Android Apps - a portfolio detailing examples of your work
would be even better!
•> Experience with Android Studio and Android SDK.
•> Experience with UIKit, Core Data and Interface Builder.
•> Experience with Java and RESTful Services.
•> Experience with JQuery Mobile, HTML5 and JavaScript.
•> Commercial experience with XML and JSON.
•> Knowledge of core Object Oriented principles.
•> Experience with both Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration.
