SQL Specialist - Technical Support & Administration - Southampton - 3 months + My public sector client are looking to hire a MS Sql specialist to join asap. They require the following; Essential: MS SQL Server to support implementation of various new infrastructure systems and applications (Installing SQL Server, setting up new instances, working with vendors to define server resource requirements, advising on licensing, setting up SQL permissions, setting up maintenance tasks) Engage with vendors to support applications installs and configurations General Windows skills including server and client OS as well as AD/Directory Services Scripting skills Producing documentation 'as built' Desirable: VMware skills to deploy new servers and Veeam backup software Contract : 3 months + Location : Southampton Rate : GBP200-230 / day - this needs to be through an Umbrella company due to IR35 status dictated by the client.
