We are one of the largest recycler and remanufacturers of inkjet printer cartridges in Europe and also provide the exciting new Polaroid 3D Printers and 3D Pen technology. The company has an enviable reputation for product quality and a blue chip client base across Europe.

This is a fantastic entry level role to support the operational areas of Supply Chain and Purchasing. Progression within the business is possible and will be actively encouraged for the right candidate.

Primary focus will be to assist the team to co-ordinate the supply chain process ensuring products are efficiently moved through the different stages of production and distribution. Working closely within a highly motivated team in a fast paced and demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Liaise with internal departments to track product demand and record, analyse and compile monthly/weekly reports via Excel and SAP.
+ Obtain order confirmations and chase Suppliers as needed and update SAP with delivery data 
+ Purchase ad hoc products online and from existing business partners in accordance with stringent purchasing procedures
+ Support the warehouse operation to ensure that products received are stored in correctly allocated areas and are properly identified 
+ Advise internal supply chain where necessary, of any product shortages and possible alternatives or substitutes.
+ Ensure safe working practices are adhered to and that all health and safety requirements are met.
+ Exercise care and ensure the security of Company property.
+ Other duties that may be required according to the needs of the business. 

Key Skills and Abilities required:

+ Office administration experience, preferably in supply chain/purchasing environments
+ Understanding of supply chain and relevant processes
+ Accustomed to working with and meeting time critical deadlines
+ Good grasp of Microsoft Office Suite (including Intermediate level Excel and Outlook) together with fast accurate keyboard skills
+ Knowledge and experience of SAP / SAP B1 an advantage
+ Great talent for communications, negotiation and customer service skills
+ Excellent written and spoken English and good numerical skills
+ Natural organisation ability, planning, prioritising and attention to detail
+ Ability to take ownership of activities and assist in solving problems and completing tasks 
+ Careful and precise 
+ Positive ‘Can do, Will do’ attitude, proactive and results orientated with determination to see projects through
+ Track record of achieving targets in previous jobs
+ Live within one hour travel of NW10
