Position: JS Developer (Angular)
Location: Suffolk
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Job type: Permanent
We would like to offer a 6 month placement- with a subject to review that could result in a full time position.
Open to remote working-potentially 4 days a week- have to be able to come into the office once a week though.

Client is a highly regarded leading manufacturer of specialist products used at some of the world’s top technical and pharmaceutical R & D companies.
You will be reporting to the Service Excellence Manager, who manages the technical department. The department’s role within the company is to be presented with or find business challenges, then utilising our skills and experience to apply a technology based system as a solution.
Your role as a JS / PHP developer will be to maintain and implement projects utilising JS technologies such as Angular, with a mixture of PHP components. Also you will be instrumental in the initial planning and specification building of projects utilising management guidance, so any commercial Project Management experience or a willingness to acquire it is an advantage.
These are some of the systems you will be responsible for:
- Various internal systems – Stock control / pricing management (with Sage integration), etc.
- SuiteCRM (based on SugarCRM) – Open source PHP based CRM system
These are the current technologies we use in our internal and external developed systems with reference to levels of importance:
- Essential
Angular (1.0 / 2.0)
Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP (LAMP)
GIT / SVN – Code version control
- Useful
.NET / C#
MSSQL
JSON, XML, SOAP
We have an active project built in the exciting new framework of Angular, so key for us is a working knowledge and demonstrable experience of developing in it.
Any knowledge or experience working with the Sage MMS account package or of any CRM systems would be desired.
You will be a strong independent worker who revels in finding solutions through collaboration with stakeholders. We have an open, friendly and supportive office environment and encourage positivity
and proactive thinking.
28 days Holiday (including bank holidays)
Discretionary performance-based Christmas bonus (after 12 months)
Option of medical cover (after 12 months)
