Advocate

They are recruiting sessional advocates to support the continued development and improvement of services for Deaf People living in the South West of England. This role includes delivering advocacy services to Deaf people, in British Sign Language and working with partner organisations in Dorset and across the South West.

The successful candidate will have experience of networking, good knowledge of the Deaf community and the ability to collect and record information.

Fluency in BSL is essential and experience of working with Deaf people in an Advocacy role is desirable.

The ability to work independently is essential to this role.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and two references, all have to be satisfactory to our client.

Location: South West / Dorset
Salary: £10 - £12 per Hour (Depending on Skills and Experience)
Working Hours: Sessional / Casual / flexible (Sessional- Home Based)
