JOB TITLE: Quantity Surveyor
SALARY & BENEFITS: Dependent on level of experience

THE COMPANY: Based in Peterborough our client is one of largest privately owned construction companies in the country. Their continued Success has created some exciting opportunities for the right candidates to join their team and strengthen key areas of their development. They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them at both their Peterborough and Bury St Edmunds Offices.
THE ROLE: We are looking for Quantity Surveyors at various levels to be part of a team delivering projects between GBP1m and GBP25m in value.
The positions are based at both Peterborough and Bury St Edmunds offices.
The quantity surveyor will be responsible for monthly employer valuations, Internal cost reporting and projecting forecast.
Leading the procurement of sub-contract packages and the administration of sub contract documents, payment and final accounts will also be an essential part of the role.
You will look after the commercial aspects of the construction projects working alongside the project team. Travel to and from sites will be required.
We would like to hear from candidates of all levels, whether you are working towards your qualifications, recently qualified or have a wealth of experience, your role and salary will be reflected in your experience.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the role of Quantity Surveyor will ideally have experience working in the construction industry, be driven and looking for career progression on exciting and challenging projects.
The Quantity Surveyor will also demonstrate knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
You will also live within a commutable distance of Peterborough or Bury St Edmunds.
Key experience essential for the role:
• Working towards, recently qualified or experienced Quantity Surveyor
• Full UK driving Licence
• Live within a commutable distance of either Peterborough or Bury St Edmunds
• Prepared to travel
