Job Introduction

This role sits within the recently formed Broadcast Network Control System (BNCS) Centre of Excellence Team (CoE) of the Technology and Operations Northern Ireland department, and reports to the BNCS-CoE Manager.
Role Responsibility
Working within our Technology and Operations team the candidate will work closely with various Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the BBC to analyse and report on current business and technical solutions, requirements, structures, processes, and technology associated with the BNCS product as used in the BBC. Working within the team, the role will provide consultative and analytical support for our ongoing product and business transformation programmes. Providing clever and clear analytical products and project documentation.
The Ideal Candidate Experience of working on projects and utilising formal consultative and analytical methodologies and approaches. An understanding of at least one software development lifecycle and the role of the business analyst at all phases. Knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques, and able to produce high quality and professional documentation, including giving presentations. Ability to use a variety of requirements elicitation techniques in different circumstances Experience of working with complex subject-matter Strong team working skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels within the organisation. Able to collate data related to technology, process and people, from variety of sources, Practical experience of the Microsoft Office Suite, including, MSProject and MSVisio and other software packages relating to ITSM, such as Jira. Able to demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and manage a high workload with conflicting priorities.
