This company is a fast moving and agile business with ever changing requirements and a passionate team. They are driven to produce the best website to support their unique business model.

They are the UK's number one cashback site. Established since 2005, they are growing rapidly and have won the Cashback site of the year for 2016 & 2017. Due to this expansion, they are looking to expand their IT teams based in their Bolton office.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work for an internationally expanding, commercial online business.

You will be responsible for a team of 4-6 developers, ensuring best practice software development, including code management and excellent coding development principles. You will build a 'delivery with high quality' culture that is accountability and results orientated; you will do this by implementing standards and processes within the team to provide a collaborative and inclusive environment. You will be expected to lead from the front, run daily scrums, code daily, lead projects and mentor the team.
Working alongside their Technical Architect, you would help drive a major re-architecture and re-design for their core online business, being developed within the .Net framework with loads of opportunities for growth and fun.

The Candidate

You will be at the top of the game in terms of development, have experience in Digital / Online platforms and will offer experience working across and owning the full development life cycle from requirements stage through to support.

Experience within the E-Commerce or online application space will be beneficial but it is highly important you are a seasoned senior software engineer with hands on technical leadership experience.

You will have proven experience of working collaboratively with business representatives in order to deliver the minimum viable product. You will have proven experience of software development best practices including testable software, continuous integration, design patterns, architectural principles, SCRUM and SOLID design principles.

You will demonstrate a minimum of 2 years performance management experience and a minimum of 5 years' software development experience.

Essential Qualities

- Expert with ASP.NET MVC / C#
- Experience within a Technical Leadership role
- Agile, TDD and continuous deployment
- Demonstrable experience of leading an application software development function; being involved in stages of planning, construction, testing reviews and demonstrations
- Act as an expert of technology and application knowledge; whilst maintaining an active interest in new application development techniques
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, architects and analysts to develop and review requirements and designs
- It would be nice to see you provide performance management and coaching to help team members grow their product, technical knowledge and skills
