Our client, a global fortune 200 group, creates market-leading coating and paints for a wide variety of industry sectors, from logistics to interior design. They are now looking for a Store Manager to join their team in Southampton.

As the Store Manager, you’ll drive and increase sales at our client’s decorating centre in Southampton. 

Leading and growing a team of Sales Assistants, you’ll motivate them to deliver a first-class service to customers and ensure that the centre is presented to a high standard. 

Taking responsibility for the centre’s accounts, you’ll work with the District Operations Manager and Commercial Support Manager to effectively control resources in-line with budgeted costs. 

Additionally, you will ensure that H&S standards are maintained and perform a range of administration tasks to support the smooth running of the centre. 

Interested? To be considered, you will need: 

- Face-to-face customer service and/or sales experience 
- Previous experience of working in a retail or trade environment in a managerial capacity 
- Experience of managing multiple direct reports 
- A track record of working towards and achieving sales targets 
- A full driving licence 

Self-motivated and calm under pressure, as the Store Manager, you’ll be able to communicate at all levels. You’ll also be able to coach and mentor others and work on your own initiative.
