Cornwall Community Flood Forum (CCFF) is a Cornish Charity committed to supporting communities, households and businesses at risk of flooding.
Job Details
Although employed by CRCC, the post holder is on permanent secondment to CCFF and day-to-day management is through CCFF Trustees. As the sole employee of the charity the successful applicant must be prepared to carry out a wide range of duties to maintain the sustainability of the charity.
Role Requirements
To provide administrative support for day-to-day functioning and to develop the future sustainability of CCFF;
To grow CCFF to be the lead non-statutory organisation in Cornwall dealing with community resilience by the delivery of solutions to community flood issues;
To support communities in developing resilience to the effect of past and potential future flooding;
To support individuals contacting CCFF with free, informal, independent information and advice relating to flood prevention and resilience matters; and
To build upon the successful elements of the Cornwall Community Flood Resilience Pathfinder (2013-15) and promote best practice and learning outside Cornwall.
