The Role
As a Business Analyst, you'll use your expertise in the collection and analysis of quantitative financial data to create world class financial reports. In addition you'll drive business improvements whilst recommending cost reductions. It'll be important for you to use your data analysis skills to uncover any potential process or finance related issues. Development and production of all key financial metrics will be another one of your key responsibilities.

To succeed in this role of Business Analyst you'll need to be of graduate calibre within an analytical subject (Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering etc) and be able to demonstrate significant financial acumen and advanced level skills in Excel (macros, pivots, lookups etc.). Any experience of data mining and reporting tools such as MS Access, Cognos and SQL would certainly hold you in good stead.
