The successful Interim Youth & Employment Service Manager will:
Ensure the team provides responsive, high quality services and constantly seeks opportunities to develop and improve services
Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders
Manage contracts ensuring compliance
Recruit and lead a team
The successful Interim Youth & Employment Service Manager will have:
Sound understanding of national/regional policies, priorities and issues relating to youth and employment services
Ability to prepare reports for Senior Management and Board with a proven track record of income generation
Strong knowledge of safeguarding
Excellent inter-personal skills to be able to deal with issues of sensitive nature
Experience of managing a team
While no formal qualifications are essential, the following is desirable: qualification/s in Management, Youth Work and IAG.
As a member of the Management Team, the job-holder will be expected to undertake some out-of-hours work, including attendance at evening meetings.
