Person Specification

You must be a recent Science graduate with a 2:1 or above degree, Physics, Biology, Chemistry will all be considered. If you have any experience in tutoring or working with children this would be advantageous.

About the role

In this exciting Science Teaching Assistant role you will be working in the state-of-art Science department. You will support the subject teaching in preparing lessons and ensuring that all pupils in class are making progress.

You will be required to deliver intervention sessions to individuals or to small groups of students in order to give them that extra push outside of the classroom. The teacher and Senior Leadership team will assist you along the way and you will liaise with them to ensure progress is being made. You will have the opportunity to become fully involved in school life and attend fortnightly training sessions which will contribute to your professional development.
