Job Elements
• Design and New Product development.
• Design & Management of products from initial concept through to manufacture
• Complete & Compile Risk Assessment (FMEA)
• Utilise 3D CAD (SolidWorks)
• Support to customers/suppliers onsite and remotely solving any design or product issues that may arise
• Co-ordination with external design consultants
• Input into problem solving & CAPA activities
• Participate in & initiate VA/VE exercises where practicable
• Handle transfer of design projects through manufacturing to the market.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Mechanical Engineering Qualification/Design Engineering
• Experienced Mechanical Design / 3D CAD Engineer
• Experience within Manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Injection Moulding & machining techniques
• SolidWorks experience
• Knowledge or experience within a highly regulated environment, (e.g. Medical, Pharmaceutical) highly desirable
