Interim Senior Manager - Data Protection Compliance
Cardiff
Contract - GBP500 per day (circa GBP120K)
Our client a financial services company based in Cardiff, urgently require a Senior Manager - Data Protection Compliance to join their compliance team on a permanent basis.
They require a candidate with previous experience of regulatory compliance, risk management or audit within financial services.
Responsibilities of Senior Manager - Data Protection Compliance will include:
Maintaining a thorough understanding of applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Providing advisory support and assurance services to senior management and assist with key strategic projects and regulatory change.
Maintaining up-to date of internal business products and processes.
Managing the compliance assessment process and implement ongoing compliance monitoring activities.
Maintain the compliance monitoring, testing and report program to provide senior management with objective and timely assessments of compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Successful Senior Manager - Data Protection Compliance will have:
Previous experience of regulatory compliance, risk management or audit within financial services industry.
Management and supervisory experience.
Bachelor's degree required.
Professional compliance certification.
Previous experience with compliance management systems, compliance management framework development.
Six Sigma/ Process Excellence, Project Management experience preferred, relevant certification preferred.
