Production Manager
Reporting to the Operations Director the Manager will be responsible for;
•Overseeing the Production Process in total to ensure that the manufacturing process runs to schedule and within budget.
•To allocate work amongst with the assistance of the Production Supervisors to ensure that jobs are completed in the most efficient manner.
•To maintain the quality of product by adhering to the highest Manufacturing Standards possible and liaise with the Quality Department when required to confirm Quality Standards.
•To work with the team to provide a clean and safe environment.
•To ensure that any third party organisations are scheduled to attend at the correct times e.g. VOSA.
•To be responsible for Health and Safety Issues within the Company and be pro-active in following up any incidents with the relevant Supervisor to prevent to ensure any incidents are not repeated in the future.
•To evaluate work performance and report progress/status on a daily basis.
•To highlight parts shortages/material issues and help to resolve any issues.
•To maintain any relevant paperwork in order to support Production.
•To implement any new ways of working.
•To take responsibility and lead the team through any New Product Development Initiatives.
•To take the lead regarding any cost-down opportunities/initiatives.
•To work closely with the Engineering Team to resolve any Engineering Issues which may arise.
•Schedule and sign off any holiday requests and conduct 'back to work interviews' following any period of absence.
