Our pharmacy client now has an opportunity within their Central Purchasing department for a Supply Chain Analyst to report to the Group Inventory Manager. Based at the Head Office in Runcorn, you will be responsible for planning and analysing supply and demand changes within their supply chain and provide intelligent reporting of trends.

The Supply Chain Analyst will have a key role in the development and execution of their supply chain strategy and will work collaboratively with internal and external departments and bodies to determine business needs. You will also be required to develop, implement and track key performance metrics, identifying and improving any weaknesses.

They are looking for a highly analytical candidate with the ability to think and operate strategically, display creativity and be able to influence effectively whilst focusing on the needs of the customer and the business.

Ideally with experience in a similar Analyst position, preferably in a similar Supply Chain setting, the successful candidate will have a strong background in maths and statistics. You will be able to identify patterns, model scenarios and assess business cases.

It is essential that you are able to produce reports using Excel, Word and Powerpoint, and you must be able to use Excel to produce graphs, table, pivottables. You will also have the ability to create Excel macros and have knowledge about time series based forecasting.

Some off site work may be required therefore you will need to hold a valid driving licence.
