Reporting to the CEO of the company in the UK, the role holder is required to work closely with the Head of Brand Strategy and Identity at the UK marketing teams to define and implement the corporate & brand communications strategies for the company in the UK and Ireland, including the supporting communication campaigns, social media & PR.

The role holder has responsibility for all advertising, direct B2C communications, in-store promotions & digital performance marketing; delivering integrated, engaging campaigns to drive business performance across all media & channels.

Main Responsibilities

Branding

  • Define the overall communications strategy for corporate & UK/IE brands in collaboration with the company's Group SRL & UK/IE marketing teams
  • Supervise the implementation of corporate & brand communications strategy in UK/IE
  • Ensure consistent & correct usage of brand elements, both internally and externally to achieve goals set at brand & corporate level

PR & Media Relations

  • Define the overall strategy for press releases, in collaboration with UK/IE marketing teams
  • Manage commercial & strategic relations with PR agencies
  • Ensure coherent media coverage

Social Media and Marketing Campaigns

  • Manage the strategy for Social Media monitoring and outreach, in collaboration with the UK/IE marketing teams
  • Define, launch & manage proactive campaigns to support the brands and activities

Team Management

  • Manage a cross-department team for Freestanding Appliances, Built-In, Small Appliances & After Sales Service
  • Recruit new members of the brand communications team

Skills and Attributes

  • Extensive experience in branding, advertising, PR & digital marketing campaigns
  • Excellent communications skills including writing and speaking with a solid technical understanding
  • Proven track record in similar senior roles with leading consumer brands
  • Leadership, drive, passion & enthusiasm
  • Team player, positively influence others, support colleagues in achieving results
  • Work under tight deadlines & manage several simultaneous projects
  • Positive attitude, resourceful nature & excellent problem-solving ability
  • Experience leading marketing communications in a complex, multi-product, multi-channel and/or multi-business unit organisation & an understanding of working in a matrix
  • Open to working flexible hours across the UK locations and occasional visits to Italy
  • Ability to demonstrate business outcomes and results of marketing activity
  • Experience leading end-to-end campaign delivery process, including leadership of teams comprising of in-house specialists & marketing agency partners
