Smithers Purslow, Consulting Engineers & Surveyors, is looking to recruit a full time Civil/ Structural Engineer to join its growing Newcastle office.  This is a busy and varied role providing engineering design and consultancy services on a wide range of building structures projects, primarily residential and commercial buildings in all forms of construction.

This newly created position provides a perfect opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing business and to create and develop their own engineering team and contribute to the continued success of the Northern office.

The role would ideally suit an experienced graduate or newly chartered engineer with several years relevant experience with a bias toward general building structures. A professional manner, good interpersonal and communication skills are also essential.

The post is a full time, permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week with a competitive salary and company pension scheme.
