Headway Cambridgeshire is currently looking for a highly motivated, adaptable professional to join our multidisciplinary team providing specialist services to people with a brain injury.

Heading up a small committed team of Rehabilitation Workers and Occupational Therapist the Independence Service Co-ordinator will be responsible for leading the delivery of our countywide Independence service. Through the provision of 1:1 goal focused support, the service helps people with a brain injury to build confidence and independence, reduce isolation and better cope with the effects of living with a brain injury.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of delivering services which promote enablement and personal growth. They will have a facilitative approach to all aspects of work, leading by example and developing both staff and clients to their full potential. A confident communicator with strong leadership skills, they will have experience of project management and the ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to deliver services to meet the needs of people with a brain injury.

This position is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance
