Prospero Teaching are working with a secondary school located in Enfield who require a teacher of Design Technology to join the department in September 2017.

A secondary school in Enfield, stepped in history are actively seeking a Qualified Teacher of Design Technology, experienced or newly qualified we would like to hear from you.
The school is located in the Enfield area and is a great location within close proximity of excellent transport links and onsite parking. The Design Technology department is established, well recoursed and successful. Design Technology is popular with students across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
The Design Technology department would like to secure a teacher who can teach Resistant Materials.
The Headteacher is interested in securing a Design Technology teacher who can commit, learn, grow, develop with the role, someone who can dedicate their time to the students and buys into the ethos on a part-time basis.
The ideal Design Technology teacher will need to have:
*Sound subject knowledge
*PGCE and Degree in something Design Technology related
*you have excellent subject knowledge allied with superb organisational skills and a talent for leading colleagues
*you are a team player with high expectations of yourself, your colleagues and your pupils
*To plan for the inclusion of all students with additional needs in lessons through an understanding of those needs and adaption of planning and resources to meet the needs.
*To be a tutor, providing pastoral support, guidance and advice to students, keeping appropriate records and reporting on the personal and social needs and progress of the pupils in that class.
*To be a reflective practitioner.
*To ask for support and advice when it is required.

You will be working within a highly motivated and successful Design Technology Department at this high achieving school. The faculty consists of a highly experienced and enthusiastic team of teachers and TAs who display a passion for their specialist subject areas.
