Parts Administrator - Regulatory Compliance
Direct Appointments is currently working with an automotive manufacturer and who require a Parts Administrator with Regulatory Compliance knowledge to be based at their Manufacturing site in Swindon, Wiltshire.
They are currently looking for a Parts Administrator to join the Parts Team within the Product Compliance and Sustainability Area. The main purpose of the role will be to obtain compliance data from suppliers for all parts and materials used to produce our clients' products. You will be responsible for the management of suppliers ensuring data collection deadlines are met in a timely manner.
You will be working in a dynamic team which ensures products are compliant from a parts and material composition viewpoint. The role will offer you the opportunity to utilise your high attention to detail and self-management skills, ensuring data collection deadlines are met and data qualification checks are carried out accurately.
The Parts Administrator responsibilities will include:
• Managing the collection of compliance data from suppliers
• Technical verification of data submissions to prove compliance
• Monitor own status, gap analysis and create recovery plans if required
• Managing suppliers and communicating with them via email and phone
To be considered for the position of Parts Administrator you must have/ be:
• A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive and responsive to change
• Strong self-management skills
• Advanced Microsoft skills including Excel
• Ability to analyse, identify trends and highlight concerns
• It would be highly beneficial to have previous supplier management experience
• An understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) and parts structures would be advantageous
