Mechanical Estimator, is required for a well-established M&E contractor based in East London. The company specialise in providing M&E solutions on a variety of Commercial and Industrial Projects across the UK. The company are well established and are looking for an Estimator with plenty of experience, or even possibly a Estimating Manager
This is an important role within the company and in reflection of this, a salary up to GBP50k on offer for the right Mechanical Estimator.
The ideal Estimator will have a strong mechanical background and experience estimating for commercial or industrial projects. The role will be working from their main office in East London alongside the rest of the design and estimating team, so you must live within a decent commutable distance from them.
Mechanical Estimators Package:
- Basic salary 40K - 50K dependant on experience
- Pension Scheme
- Car Allowance
- 28 Days holiday
Mechanical Estimators Role:
- Estimating for projects mechanical projects up to a few million in value
- Turning specifications and tender information into quotations
- Managing a small team of Estimator (if you have prior experience of this)
- Providing detailed lists of materials, producing schedules
- Building relationships with clients for future business
- Projects ranging in size from GBP500K up to GBP7-8M
Mechanical Estimators Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience estimating for mechanical projects
- Experience working with specifications, tenders and quotations
- HNC / Degree qualified is an advantage
- Must be computer literate
