An exciting position currently exists within our 300 Pavilion Drive office in Northampton for an Accounts Payable Team Leader to supervise a team of Accounts Payable staff within our Shared Service Centre. As a team leader it is your role to ensure that all suppliers` invoices are controlled, recorded, processed and paid in a timely and accurate manner by supervising and coaching the accounts payable team.

Key Responsibilities include:

-To supervise and coach the accounts payable team
-To ensure the accurate coding and input of the invoices within the purchase ledger ensuring all suppliers are paid in a timely manner
-Maintain the accuracy of the invoice approval tools
-Manage the month end tasks to agree the Inter-company balances
-Manage the closing and reconciliation of the AP Sub Ledgers
-Complete month end reporting meeting all deadlines
-Liaising with other European finance teams on daily tasks to ensure accuracy of the ledgers
-Preparation of Journals
-Dealing with internal and supplier queries
-Ad hoc reporting and supporting of other departmental duties during peak periods

Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal) and effective people management skills with the ability to coach and motivate are key requirements. You will possess an aptitude for accounts/analytical work and supervisory skills gained in a previous position are essential. With excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, you will work quickly and accurately as business needs dictate.
