Driving Plus, the onsite HGV driver supplier division of the Staffline Group, are delighted to be given an opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading retail companies as the lead supplier of HGV drivers, to their distribution centre in Bedford.
This fantastic opportunity will enable Driving Plus to give drivers an ongoing assignment, working 5 out of 7 days per week, regular start times and excellent hourly rates of pay. The role will include delivering products to store locations throughout the South England. Successful applicants, who pass our clients assessment, will be rewarded with ongoing long term assignment, either part or full time work, with add hoc/weekends shifts to suit. All drivers who will be willing to work PM shifts will be entitled to guaranteed 5 shifts a week and will take a priority due to the high demand for these start times. We are delighted to be able to provide flexible working patterns, with additional weekend or ad hoc shifts to suit and an excellent working environment.
The pay rates for Ltd Company drivers are as follows:
Monday to Friday - GBP12.25 per hour
Saturday - GBP13.40 per hour
Sunday - GBP13.90 per hour
Only HGV category C+E drivers will qualify. A minimum of 12 months HGV driving experience is desirable. You must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences and no driving bans. References to cover the last 3 years will be required
