First Data's Product Development, Client Solutions and Technology functions are responsible for innovation and advancement of our technology solutions across all of our client segments, and make a critical contribution to ensuring that First Data retains its position as a leading technology innovator. Our Product Development teams are responsible for end-to-end ownership of the product life cycle. Our Client Solutions teams deliver global solutions and expertise that make commerce possible. Our Technology teams develop a wide range of applications and solutions that enable next-generation commerce and create the infrastructure of the global commerce ecosystem. They also ensure that our data remains secure through their work in cyber-security

Position Description Overview

a) Should be able to clearly understand client requirements. b) Should be able to develop comprehensive solutions. c) Should be able to write functional and technical solution documents. d) Should be able to review the deliverables in the development and support phases. e) Should have more than 10 years of experience in the payments industry. f) Should have been familiar with the Vision PLUS software for at least 10 years. g) Should have expertise in at least five sub modules of Vision PLUS. h) Should conduct in a suave manner in front of our clients and take end to end responsibility of the deliverables. I) Should have good inter-team co-ordination skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Good understanding of all areas of the GBS and/or GFS value chain and able to lead workshops in all value chain areas. Compile effort estimates with minimum supervision and able to work independently will all technology, product and business contributors. Coordinate requirements and design workshops. Coordinate team of BAs and ensure deliverables for the solutions work stream are completed in line with the programme timelines. Work stream management and workshop schedule management. Conduct quality review of solutions deliverables in all value chain areas. Test execution and defect resolution quality review. Demonstrates a collaborative approach to solutions.

Scope of Job

Works on moderately complex projects with a high breadth of responsibility. Participates in far-reaching research projects, making important decisions.

Autonomy

Works independently on assigned tasks. Have independent authority to make significant changes to systems and environment. Must be able to supervise and coaching when interfacing with multiple IT groups and business units.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree at College of Engineering and Technology or equivalent work experience.
