Manufacturing Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking for a Qualified Accountant to join a leading manufacturing business based in Sheffield. The business has enjoyed a growth in both turnover and profit over the last two years thanks to a new finance team structure and greatly improved market conditions. They are still going through a period of business improvement process as well as increasing efficiencies within the central finance team. The business is looking to turnover approximately GBP80 Million this year and have a great outlook for the coming years.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing key financial information for a specific business unit so will have the chance to enjoy real autonomy in their role. You will also get the chance to be heavily involved in the costing and more commercial side so will opportunity offer up a very all round and varied job role.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

* Full production of Monthly Management Accounts
* Providing accurate and timely user friendly reporting for the manufacturing cost centres
* Review, analyse and issue weekly flash reports for labour and material usage for the business
* Standard costing reports and analysis
* Prepare operational budgets & forecasts for the manufacturing cost centres
* Business partnering duties with non-financial managers in order to maintain accurate forecasts

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

* CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified with experience of working in large fast paced manufacturing environment
* Extensive data analysis experience and understanding of financials
* Strong excel and systems skills
* An understanding of standard costing is essential for this role
