Sewell Wallis are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to work in a vibrant and busy environment. The Payroll Manager will lead the centralised Payroll function and will be responsible for managing the payroll team on an interim basis.

The role;

-Management of the payroll team including appraisals and objective setting
Payroll nominal reconciliations and production of journals for the Finance department
-Review and sign-off of monthly payments to 3rd parties (court orders, other deductions)
-Manage Payroll audits and ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements
-Identify and implement internal process improvements
-Implementation of a new payroll system
-Close liaison with Shared Services to ensure the achievement of all payroll related responsibilities

The person;

-Strong technical payroll experience
-Experience of managing a team
-Excellent communication skills
