Systems Analyst (Investment systems)- Financial Services - Permanent - Life Insurance

Purpose of the role
The Systems Analyst (investments) will be responsible for defining business architecture and system requirements to help meet the businesses objectives to solve business problems and create new opportunities with the application of new technology.
Key Outputs
* Work with the technical teams (systems architects/developers within the business to gather requirements and understand various processes
* Perform strategic systems planning to help meet the objectives of the business
* Understand an improve technical/ business models to align business architecture
* Create migration plans and project frameworks
* Identify systems analyst tasks and outline task dependencies
* System support on system upgrades
* User support for system users
Competencies
* A sound knowledge System Analysis theory
* Ability to multi-task, combining hands-on system analysis and leadership with technical team members and p
* The ability to understand the big picture and strategic objectives, displaying organisational sensitivity.
* The ability to take ownership and display high levels of responsibility and initiative
* Excellent communication skills, both formal and informal - This is KEY , especially when engaging with stakeholders and technical teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience with any of the following is advantageous - Excel, VBA , ICON
- Strong Stakeholder management skills
