Digital Manager - Manchester / Stockport - up to GBP35k

Creative agency, based in South Manchester, is looking for a well-rounded Digital Manager with strong Wordpress skills to join their team. 4 or 5 days per week will be considered.

Reporting into the Managing Director, you will manage all digital projects that come into the agency. You will work with external developers and internal designers on a range of web and email marketing projects, while troubleshooting, updating, fixing and offering technical support.

You could come from a Digital Project Manager background (but you must be hands-on with Wordpress and be able to navigate your way easily around a CMS). You will have some coding knowledge - enough to do the odd bit yourself and understand how to manage lots of different websites, developers etc. and post changes live.

Alternatively, you could come from a development background - you must be a Wordpress specialist, if so, and be comfortable with trouble shooting, building emails and managing hosting etc.

A wish list of experience/skills can be found below. If you can tick most of this list and have agency-side experience, we want to hear from you:

  • Wordpress/HTML/PHP
  • General Web Maintenance and Updates
  • Hot Fixes
  • Logical troubleshooting
  • SEO Updates
  • Security Updates
  • Email Construction (HTML)
  • Pixel tracking and code snippets
  • Meta data/On-page updates
  • Google Analytics Set up
  • Technical Support
  • Hosting/DNS Support

This is a great opportunity to join a lovely agency, with a great company culture. You will work on a real variety of projects, with the support of a talented team and the wider business. The agency will consider someone on a full-time basis or, for the same salary, a 4-day week for candidates at a more senior level. Salary is wholly dependent on experience.
