HR Assistant
Yaxley
Salary: circa £19k per annum
My client is looking for an experienced HR Assistant to contribute to the provision of a comprehensive and Professional HR service by providing administrative support to the Human Resources Function and assist in providing Human Resources advice, support and coordinating activities within boundaries given.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full administration support for HR Team.
- To be first point of contact for all queries into the HR office and escalate accordingly.
- Monitor and reporting of holiday, absence, sickness and timekeeping information on a daily and monthly basis, highlighting to HR team any issues or trends that require further investigation.
- Assist with recruitment and selection, to including; advert writing and placement, shortlisting, booking of interviews, correspondence with applicants and interviewing.
- New starter processing, to include; Offer letters, contracts, induction, inputting onto HR systems and to liaise with Department Managers and Payroll.
- Ensure filing, photocopying and scanning for the HR department is kept up to date.
- Completion of reference requests for current and potential employees in a timely manner.
- Updating of all HR related trackers, to include; Return to work, Training, H&S. Liaising with Department Managers and HR team.
- Input data on relevant systems as required on daily basis.
- Processing of leavers.
- Assist with sourcing and booking of training, to include; training agreements, updating HR systems and collation of feedback forms.
- Carry out various Health and safety administration and liaise with Managers, Health and Safety Reps to coordinate Health and safety activites.
- Establish (where necessary) and maintain office systems necessary to attain high standards of administrative practice. To include regular auditing of HR files.
The ideal candidate must have at least 1 years experience within an HR Administration environment, preferably within the manufacturing sector to appreciate the fast paced turnaround required.
