£11.75 per hour
We are now seeking to appoint a Multi Skilled Operative to join us in the Portsmouth / Southampton / Petersfield / Guildford or surrounding areas (PO, SO, GU postcodes).
Working in occupied and void properties undertaking responsive maintenance, planned and void works. Replacing and maintaining all building fabrics, fittings and fixtures within domestic social housing properties.
Daily tasks will include but not limited to, replacing, maintaining and repairing internal doors, fire doors, UPVC windows and doors handles and hinges, glass units, door frames, fence posts and panels, paving slabs, locks / cylinders espagnollettes, flooring, woodwork, stud wall patch repairs, basic plumbing.
Liaising with the Mears branch you will enable a response to all jobs within given time periods as laid down within the contract to ensure the work has been carried out both effectively and efficiently. You will also be responsible in making certain that any further information/ works from any job is passed over to the office staff as required. Coordinating with fellow operatives on site you will work efficiently as a team member to make sure target deadlines are met in accordance with contract KPI’s.
Successful Operatives will also be added to the branch out of hours rota.
Candidates for this role must hold a full valid UK driving license
