Research Scientist (R&D Security Data Privacy Python R MSc PhD). Start-up software house that are developing a product to allow clients to safely analyse and mine sensitive data sets without compromising the individual's right to privacy is seeking intelligent and passionate Research Scientists to join their team.
As a Research Scientist you'll utilise your skills and knowledge of data privacy to fit privacy engineering solutions to customer problems, demonstrate and quantify resilience of solutions to privacy attacks and perform research and development to shape the product roadmap. You'll be working with data scientists and software engineers within a collaborative R&D environment on ground breaking products.
Requirements:
•Strong academic background including a Masters or PhD gained in Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics
•Ability to write code; Python, R or equivalent
•Research experience around data privacy / anonymity
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
As a Research Scientist you can expect to earn a competitive salary (from GBP65k to GBP90k, multiple roles available, dependant on skillset / depth of knowledge) plus benefits.
