BUKTech - Wealth & Business Banking

Take prime responsibility, working with the Programme team and stakeholders to identify, quantify, plan and control all business requirements. Interpret Business Strategies into HL Business requirements and low level technical and business requirements, functional/ business architecture and support/maintain business specifications.

Role Purpose

Manage and document technology and process changes for the Structural Reform Programme. Support & manage key Test activities for requirements gathered. Deep Dive on Data Attributes and Mapping

Key Accountabilities

Scoping project;

Review Data Attributes across multiple systems and mapping into Requirements. Review and accept the requirements for the project. Perform analysis activity - Read, comprehend, validate & compile complex subject matter as business requirements & understand the functional domain. Business Processing, inputs/outputs and engagement with other business units. Apply a structured approach to each analysis task.

Functional Specification, written skills

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels; Effective modelling of data & process flow & specification of data interface - this includes production of detailed process flow maps.

Technical Analysis

Provide a technical analysis of solutions and document solutions in technical functional/solution specification document;

Query data in other data sources on different technology platforms as and when required to analyse new requirements or provide support.

Person Specification

Essential

Experience of working within an Agile project environment Strong Business Analysis Skills Strong Leadership skills Strong Investment knowledge Good technical exposure Broad knowledge of BUK products and services A background in working on change projects affecting Technology and Operations in large financial institutions Strong Solution Design skills/experience Stakeholder management

Preferred

Strong understanding of data structures and data models Experience within regulatory projects Previous experience within Barclays Wealth is strongly preferred Knowledge of FCA client money regulations would be an advantage Knowledge of multiple businesses, financial products, operational processes and technology platforms within Barclays Wealth Some experience of books and records and/or trade flows would be preferable however other parts of the customer journey are also relevant
