Overseas Services Technology

Overseas Services Technology provides end-to-end business and technology project delivery to the Overseas Services, Wealth UK and Premier businesses across Barclays UK and Barclays International. We deliver business and technology change to Clients, Bankers, Relationship Managers, Operations and Service Centres.

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support critical projects across the Overseas Services business by providing Data Intelligence services. The successful individual will work as part of multiple project teams, understanding in detail the project objective and collating and delivering all data required for successful delivery of the projects.

With Banking becoming increasingly data driven it is critical that we further embed data intelligence into our projects. As such, there is an opportunity to build a Data Intelligence team of SMEs who can provide thought, understanding and shape delivery of projects over and above delivering the data itself. It will be an additional objective of this role to define the proposition that can be provided and look for additional opportunities to add value to projects.

The Data Intelligence Lead will have to work closely with project managers, senior business stakeholders, end users and technology development teams, in both an Agile and Waterfall methodology. They will be expected to be the single point of contact for project requirements and engage early and often against the projected roadmap.
