We are now expanding our operations in the UK with a brand new Supply Chain Centre in Warrington. This site shall have modern production equipment, a large warehouse facility and an impressive Transport and logistics function. We will be looking for staff in all areas of the Supply Chain Centre from administration, drivers, warehouse and production operatives to multi-skilled engineers.

Working in our Supply Chain Centres puts you at the heart of the Domino's Pizza operation. We manufacture all of the fresh dough for the UK and Ireland stores and supplying them with the ingredients and associated equipment and supplies to enable our franchisees to concentrate on making great pizza, at the highest standard, for our customers. Supply Chain is where people from customer service, production, warehouse, maintenance, delivery and service come together to give our stores everything they need to operate flawlessly.

This is a key site for Domino's and getting the right people on the ground for the start is essential. Consequently we are currently hiring for a well-established and experienced Production Manager, ideally with Start-up site experience.

Our Production Manager will effectively lead and manage the site production operation ensuring departmental goals and targets are achieved therefore contributing to the development of Domino's long term strategy. Work in partnership with stakeholders to ensure legal, food safety, health and safety and Domino's policy and procedural compliance at all times.

Key accountabilities & Responsibilities:

- Lead, motivate, supervise and develop the production team to enable their effective performance within their area of responsibility
- Direct responsibility for the line management and personal development of the team utilising the framework of tools available, which will support the site succession plan
- Line Manager responsibility for all elements of people management in accordance with Company policy and procedures and employment legislation
- Ensure compliance of self and team at all times to GMP, Food Hygiene Standards, ISO Standards and Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Drive culture of continuous improvement ensuring agreed departmental targets are achieved and exceeded whilst managing costs and performance in line with budgets and mitigating variances
- Contribute to development and implementation of the production strategy aligned to the overall company business plan
- Effective Project Management, as and when required to be delivered on time and within budget, to add value to the effectiveness of the Production Operation and broader business

Knowledge:

- Knowledge of dough management
- An understanding of Health and Safety Legislation
- An understanding of Food Safety Standards
- Experience and understanding of working to BRC accreditation
- Good IT skills
- Conversant with Lean methodologies i.e. 5S, Kaizen

Experience:

- Previous managerial experience gained within a Production environment
- Experience of food manufacturing gained within a bakery or dough production facility
- Experience of Hygiene procedures, standards and equipment in the chilled food industry
- Experience of working with standard operating procedures
- Good financial experience of running a production operation in line with agreed forecasts/budgets
- Previous line management experience

Qualifications:

- Educated to degree level with a manufacturing or food technical bias or equivalent management Basic food hygiene certificate
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) certificate
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certificate
- Manual Handling training certificate
- Advanced food hygiene certificate
- IOSH Managing Safely

- Ability to identify, evaluate, balance and proactively manage risks arising from any conflicts between commercial pressures and regulatory requirements
