The right candidate will be a conscientious, energetic Key Stage 1 Teacher; someone who comes with a strong set of recent lesson observations and a real can-do attitude towards aiding pupil progress. Communication is key of course, as is the ability to plan and deliver lessons that will motivate and challenge students, all with the long-term goal of raising attainment and pupil engagement.
The Key Stage 1 Teacher Role
In this exciting Key Stage 1 Teacher role, you will be leading a vibrant class of 30 well-mannered pupils, and will be looked upon to build quick and lasting relationships with them. Create and develop a classroom full of imagination and curiosity as you gear students up for their progression to Key Stage 2! To ensure you settle into your new role and environment as quickly as possible the leadership team will assign you a personal mentor who will be available to guide and support you at every step of your development. Make the most of the highly effective supporting team and benefit from the help of a talented TA who aspires to teach. You will have active exposure to some superb departmental resources, and will benefit from the full support of your SLT!
