Procurement Analyst - Inchcape UK
An integral role within the Inchcape Retail Procurement team, reporting to a Procurement Manager. The team is responsible for delivering the procurement department's core purpose:
Working in partnership to increase Inchcape's profitability procuring quality goods and services at the lowest total cost
You will embrace the challenge of working in a diverse multi-franchise business of significant scale (UK turnover GBP2bn) with a distributed decision making structure and wide geographic footprint.
The role will be based in the Milton Keynes office however there will also be some travel across the UK to support projects.
Responsibilities
Sourcing, compiling and analysing information to support the decision making process for Procurement projects
Working closely with the full Procurement Team supporting them with good clear analysis of information
Identify and deliver tangible results through cost reduction and service improvement on projects
You will need to work closely with the Business to ensure projects meet with the Business needs and reflect the Inchcape Group ethos.
You will also be involved in other areas outside of category such as spend reports, system and process improvements
Deal with day to day issues
Core Skills & Experience required
Highly numerate
Advanced Excel
Good presentation skills
Computer literate (Access, Word, Power-point)
Some Procurement experience would be an advantage
Good communicator
Self-starter/Drive to get results
